{FAQ} New Bahamarama

Welcome to the New Bahamarama!

Briefly:

This update of Bahamarama is the first of a series of updates.

There is more to come!

Bahamarama has hopefully become more attractive for all the users.
There is more space, with 5 zones that you can unlock progressively.
(Players who had already opened Bahamarama will have 4 zones opened automatically, equivalent to the land they had previously)

The Level system has been completely re-worked, so that levelling up is easier to obtain. For each level up, you'll receive some Golden Bananas which will allow you to choose the next plants, trees or animals that you wish to grow next. The choice of items that you wish to grow is much more interactive.
There is a new "Monkey Temple" where you can unlock new options:
  • plants
  • trees
  • animals
  • extra space

(Players who had already opened Bahamarama will have all the crops, trees and animals that were previously unlocked already)

* How can I access Bahamarama?
You'll still need to unlock it via the SkillTree in the Magical Glade
It will now require 50 stars to unlock access to Bahamarama, and Zone 0 (see below).
(Players who previously had access to Bahamarama do not need to pay any more stars - and will have Zone 0, Zone 1, Zone 2 and Zone 3 unlocked automatically)
Once unlocked, you'll be able to click on the Boat (on the main Map) and this will then open up the Bahamarama Map.

* Which parts of the Map are clickable at this moment?
On this Map, at this moment, you can click on the Playfield on the right, on the Ancient Monkey Temple at the top, and on the Boat to go back to the mainland Farmerama

* So, what size is the new playfield?
The playfield is made up of 5 sections, with a total of 188 squares, on each of which you'll be able to plant crops, trees and raise animals.

When you first access Bahamarama you'll see one section open: ZONE 0
(Players who previously had access to Bahamarama will immediately have 4 sections unlocked)
Each remaining part can be unlocked with a certain amount of Golden Bananas.
You'll get 5 Golden Bananas each time you level up on Bahamarama.
Golden Bananas

You'll see your stock of Golden Bananas
on the top-bar when you are on Bahamarama.
Here is a picture showing all the 5 parts:

* What is the Ancient Monkey Temple?
The Ancient Monkey Temple is situated at the top-left of the new Bahamarama Island map.
Once you click on that part of the Bahamarama Map, you'll see the inside of the Ancient Monkey Temple.
Each "page" is called a Chamber and has lines of Statues representing features that you can unlock.
This golden pointer:

will show you which Chamber you are in.
The first statue, corresponding to the crop: Sugarcane, is "unlocked" meaning that you can click on the Shopping Basket, buy a few seeds, and start planting them.
= unlocked
= still locked
(Players who previously had unlocked crops, trees, animals at various levels will have all the corresponding Statues already "unlocked")
There are more Chambers that can be accessed for a few Golden Bananas, to have access to even more options.
Click on the button on the bottom green row to open a new Chamber.

Hover your cursor over each "dark" Statue to see what new item can be unlocked by paying a few Golden Bananas

Here, at the bottom of the picture, you can see the 7 first Chambers unlocked
(the arrow to the right would suggest that other Chambers will be added...)

(This icon probably also indicates that other future items/features to be opened in the (near) future)
Here is a chart of how many Golden Bananas are required to unlock each Chamber, and each type of crop, tree, animals, and other features:
  • NOTE: Once unlocked, you will be able to see + buy these items by clicking on the Shopping Basket icon on the left of your farm.

    There is NO more Tiki-Shop!

  • * NOTE: If you were level 27 before (new level 118), you will have all the chambers opened, all the plant/tree/animal Statues unlocked.

* What has changed with the Level system?
The level system has been totally reworked.
(for players previously already on Bahamarama, your previous level will be adapted to the new level curve automatically).
There is now a total of 200 levels instead of 33 previously.

The gap between levels is not as steep, but it will become faster and easier to level up.

Levels will have new names on each 'odd' level.
So, for example: when you reach level 9, you'll be a "Grape Graduate" and when you reach level 10 you'll still be a "Grape Graduate".

New items will no longer be obtained when levelling up, but by trading in Golden Bananas in the Ancient Monkey Temple, obtained when levelling up.

* Why do I have a new Sticker in my Sticker Album?
Every player who had already opened Bahamarama before the transition, will receive a sticker as a souvenir of the "old" Bahamarama

Bahamarama Troubleshooting

* Why can't I unlock this Crop?

  • You can not unlock this Statue, because it is in a Chamber that you have not yet opened.
    • Solution:
Open the Chamber, by clicking the Green + button, and pay a few Golden Bananas

* Why can't I unlock this Crop?

  • You can not unlock this Statue, because the neighbouring statue on the left is not yet unlocked.
    • Solution:
Unlock the Statue(s) on the left, then you can unlock this one

* Why can't I unlock the Monkey Breeding?

  • You can not unlock this Statue because you have not unlocked the 'base animal' (Monkey Playground). And the previous Chambers have not been unlocked.
    • Solution:
Go back to Chamber 2, make sure you have unlocked Chamber 2, then unlock the Monkey Playground.

* Why can't I unlock the last Zone of land?

  • You can not unlock this Statue, because the Chamber is not unlocked
    • Solution:
Make sure all the previous chambers are unlocked, then unlock Chamber 7 to be able to unlock the Zone 4 Statue.
Also: make sure you have unlocked Zone 1, Zone 2, and Zone 3 before attempting to unlock Zone 4

After the initial bugs/glitches have been 'almost' all smoothed out, there remains a few questions: NOTE: The Level conversion was done automatically by the system. The unlocking of already obtained items (crops, trees, animals) was done by the system. Nobody, previously under level 27 receives any 'extra' golden bananas. New Bahamarama gives +5 Golden Bananas per new level up * Why don't I have the correct count of Golden Bananas? Each player's old level was converted to a new level curve. All the items that you had previously are also unlocked now. You have not lost access to land, crops, animals or trees that you had previously. Players will get +5 bananas for each NEW level up after the conversion. Also please note the following about previous level-ups on old bahamarama: All players (under old level 27) will not get retroactive extra bananas for previous level-ups. (Players over old level 27 receive 5 Golden Bananas for every new level above 118.) * Why did I pay with stars to open Bahamarama zones 0,1,2 and 3 and now bananas have been "used" too? Unlocking old Bahamarama with 200 stars previously, means that now you have access to 4 zones. Players will not receive extra Golden Bananas for previously unlocked features. New Bahamarama is a new start. You'll get +5 bananas for each level up in New Bahamarama.
