You can find these whilst harvesting your mainland farm AND island
They can also be gifted to/from buddies and neighbours.
They can also be bought from the shop, with discount prices:

• 1 ball of yarn - 2 BB
• 50 balls of yarn - 85 BB (15% off)
• 100 balls of yarn - 150 BB (25% off)
• 150 balls of yarn - 200 BB (33% off)

At the end of the event remaining balls of yarn will be converted into 30 EP + 30 VC each.

There are 8 levels, each have 3 jobs.
Additionally, you'll receive stars for each job fulfilled

• silver job = 1 star
• gold job = 2 stars
• diamond job = 3 stars

Any items donated can not be un-donated.
So if you're not sure to be able to fulfill a job, it's preferable NOT to partially donate items.
