There is a new type of event breeding: Reindeers. They need to be trained in various skills so that they can deliver Santa's presents. The Christmas reindeers are NOT the ones produced by the reindeer stables, they have to be found in the event boxes purchased from the Shopping Center.
* How do we get event Christmas Reindeers?
They are for sale in the Shopping Center ONLY, in the Seasonal items tab:

* I understand the part about reindeers, what should i do next?
We're going to have to set up some special Christmas breeding pastures to really get the reindeer breeding going. We also need special reindeer feed
for which we need the event plant:
All players level 2+ will get 10 seeds of Witch hazel at the beginning of the Event. They will not be in the Seed Shops, nor will they be buyable/sellable at the market. If you drop down to less than 5 seeds, you'll need to wait for the automatic replenishment every 5-6 hours.
* I have some Christmas reindeers and some Witch hazel now. What should i do next?
From level 2+ you can click on the Event-Place in the City:
When you've clicked on the Event Place, you'll then see a short Tutorial explaining the Event, then you'll see this event window: :
First of all make sure that you have enough Witch hazel growing on your fields, so that you will not be left without seeds to re-plant. Click, on the Event-Window, on the bowl of feed. (Number 5 on the picture above)
This will open up a pop-up, where you can choose to make some Special Reindeer Feed.

- The Prize List for each of the 6 steps
- Deposit the Special breeding reindeers to the Quest

* How can I transform the Christmas reindeers into trained reindeers?
From Level 2+ you'll have access to a special breeding Pasture: called the Christmas breeding pasture
Place it onto an empty 2x3 space on your Main Field and Green Meadow only!
It looks like this:
Similar to the normal Breeding Pasture, but with a pink roof.
* What is the base (Delivery) reindeer and the 4 other types of trained reindeers and their CC-value?
* Can I mix-'n-match different types of breeding reindeers in the Christmas breeding pasture?
You can - but it is strongly recommended to breed 4-of-the-same-type!
Here are the Breeding Results that you can expect to get:
* Does the Baby Boom Rune affect this special breeding?
Yes! (20% more chance to receive extra animals
These could be either a random breeding animal or
4 standard animals)
* How can I feed the reindeers in the Christmas breeding pasture?
They do NOT eat Power-Feed directly: it needs to be transformed first!
Once you've selected 4 animals, you'll then need to feed them 1 x special reindeer feed (see above how to make this special feed).
Then, after 6 hours, your Christmas breeding pasture will be "ready" to harvest.
You'll get 50 EP + a pop-up showing you your Breeding Results.
* Can I shorten this Breeding Time?
Yes,
- as with the normal Breeding Pastures, you can add "pheromones" to shorten the Breeding Time.
Each pheromone added will half the remaining time.- 0 pheromones = 6 hours
- +1 pheromone = 3 hours
- +2 pheromones = 1.5 hours
- +3 pheromones = 45 minutes
- + 4 pheromones = 23 minutes
- They can be gifted to/from neighbours/friends
- They can be bought in the Shopping Center for 1000 CC each
- They can be grown on Scented Trees
- Also, you can use the crafting item called "Pink Jelly" to reduce the initial growing time by 50% (you must "eat" the pink jelly before feeding the Christmas breeding pasture)
- There is also another SkillTree rune that reduces the time of Pastures (+ the Russian Chicken Coop) by 1 hour. (see {FAQ} SkillTree Runes)
Note: 5500 CCs worth of Trained reindeers are required.* What are the Reward Items?
Christmas reindeers (base ones) cannot be donated.
You could decide to donate:
- 1100 Elf Reindeers (value: 5 CC each)
- 220 Gift Reindeers (value: 25 CC each)
- 48 Postal Reindeers (value: 115 CC each)
- 11 Angel Reindeers (value: 500 CC each)
Or a mix of any of the above Trained Reindeers. In case of the Postal reindeers, their value will total up to 5520, so you can decide to donate 47 Postal reindeers and fill up the rest of the value with other trained reindeers.
