Winter Magic 2011

Snowflakes are flying around like fluffy light fleece. Winter magic is in the air! It's time to decorate the city with all the farmers!

Collect as much glitter and Christmas lights as you can on your farm and bring them to the city. In return, great rewards and tons of experience points await!

All the farmers are pitching in: Use the bar on the top right to find out how much you've collected together already and watch as you transform the city into a wonderful, glowing holiday landscape!

Head out, do your part to get everything decorated in time!

The Event should end when the Global counter reaches the SnowGlobe
(see below)

From level 3+ by clicking on the Event Place in front of the Farmer's Society building.

This will then open up the Event pop-up:

There will be 2 new drop items: Glitter and Lights

You'll get these items floating up from your farm when you harvest.

* Where can I see my stock of harvested drop-items?

You'll see how many you have in your Barn inventory, under "other".

* Can I buy some Glitter and Lights?

Yes!
These can be bought in the Supply Store, individually, or in packs of 50, 100 or 150 items.
You can either see them straight in your Supply Store under "seasonal items" or click on the links at the bottom of the Event pop-up.

You'll see 3 distinct parts:

1. left upper part: Donate Crops and Glitter
2. left lower part: Donate animals and Lights
3. top-right part: Global "all farmer" progress bar

1. Left-upper part:

Donate 500000 CCs worth of crops (no Island crops) (500 BBs)and 600 Glitter (600 BBs)

Reward item for this part:

Reindeer Stable
(you'll find it in the animal tab, either after a certain lapse of minutes, or refreshing your browser!)

Feed: 5 oats, 5 hay, 5 mushrooms
Gives: 80 EP and 1 reindeer
Time: 18 hours

2. Left-lower part:

Donate 500000 CCs worth of animals (no Island animals) (500 BBs) and 600 Lights (or 1200 BBs)

Reward item for this part:

Winter Magician

Size: 1x2
Gives: 280 EP
Time: 14 hours

3. Top-right part:

This is a Global "All-Player" Counter, that will progressively advance towards the right, unlocking more Wintery Magic to the City along the Way.
Snow -> stars -> candles -> etc

Adding crops/animals into this section will not only make the counter advance but will also give you EPs.
The item:EP ratio is 25 CC's worth of item = 1 EP

The last prize, illustrated on the far-right of the global-counter-bar, is the

Gives: 125 EP
Time: 15 hours

You can effectively buy your way through with BBs:

• the crop/glitter section costs 500 BBs;
• and the animal/lights section costs 500 BBs also.

Yes! Once you've completed both the parts on the left, you'll get a Sticker. (Visible in your Sticker Album, in the Post Office building, you might need to re-organise your stickers to see them all)

At the end of the event, remaining glitter will be exchanged for 15 EP and 15 CC each
Light chains will be exchanged for 30 EP and 30 CC each.
